(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 18. ! Mr Parr (Minister of Education) an- J nounces that the Waikato Sanatorium is being finally closed. The patients | have been removed to a more up-to- i date sanatorium at Pukeora, and ad- , vanced oases have returned to hospitals j in the districts from whi li they came. The small shelters have been allocated to the hospital boards, and the main building has been handed to the Waikato Bojard for re-ere<*tion at Hamilton to provide additional accommodation for chronic consumptives.
