OBITUARY.
SIR LESLIE WARD. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 17, 1.5 p.m ) LONDON, Alay 16. The death is announced of Sir Leslie Ward, the oartoonist, at the age of 71 years. Sir 1 Ward studied architecture under Sydney Snhrke R.A., and from timo to time exhibited architectural drawings and oil-colour and watercolour portraits in th© Royal Academy and elsewhere. He was a member of the R-oval Society of Portrait Painters.
