RULE—RAMSEY. A very pretty wedding was celebrated on AN ednesday at the Durham Street

Wesleyan Church, the contracting parties being ALiss lteta Muriel Ramsey, elder daughter of Air and Mrs Thomas J. Ramsey, of Leeston, and Air 11. \\ . Rule, eldest son of Airs Rule, of Wellington. The bride, who entered tho church on the arm of her father, wore an ivory jersey, silk dress, heavily embroidered in silk braid, with veil and wreath of orange blossoms, ana she carried a shower bouquet of roses and chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Aliss Dorothy Ramsey (a sister of the bride) looked becoming and dainty m a dress of choral pink crepe do chine and overdress of georgette with hand-painted panels in gold and angel sleeves, a gold tiara, on. her hair with steamers, and gold shoes and stockings to match, and she carried a bouquet of bronze roses and autumn leaves. The duties of host man were carried out by Air L. Rule. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Cadena. The wedding was celebrated at the Roman Catholic Cathedral on Monday morning of Miss Alice Gertrude Loughlin. eldest daughter of the late William Loughlin. of Christchurch, and Edvard James Payton, of Spreydon.
