FESTIVAL CONTINUED. The 1922 festival of the Christchurch Literary and Musical Competitions Society was continued at. the Choral Hall today before a fair attendance. The judges are:—Music, Mr Victor Galway, of Dunedin; elocution, Mr Claude Hall, of Melbourne. Results: — SCOTTISH SONG. Gentlemen. O Sing tae me the Auld Scotch Sangs." Recalls : Arthur S. Bell, Sprcydon. Roland Smith, Shirley. A. G. Thompson, Spreydon. Highly commended:—D. N. Bishop, St Albans; T. G. Rogers. Christchurch. Also sang:—W. Gardiner, Linwood ; Johnson Mayfield. Richmond; J. B. Sweeney. Christchurch; and B. Crowhurst, Christchurch. PIANO DUET. Ten and under Thirteen. Own Selection.
