A charge of assault brought by Leslie Tlardie against Jack Armstrong was called at the Magistrate’s Court this morning. Armstrong asked for an adjournment in order to get some witnesses. He said that part of the case had been heard by Mr Bundle. S.M., «t Dunedin, and he did not think that there was any need for Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., to traverse that evidence again. If 1 take the case I'll have to start de novo,” said the Magistrate.
