NEW CABLE LINE.
ACROSS ATLANTIC By Telegraph— Press Association— Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received April 20, 10.40 a.m.) NEW YORK. April 19. The Western Union Telegraph Company has announced that the plans aro completed for laying new cables across the Atlantic from New York, probably to a German port. The cable, a new invention, will carry 40.000.000 words annually, as compared with the present cable’s capacity, which is 5,000,000 words.
