The death is announced of Sir .John Kirk, treasurer of the Ragged School Union. Bern in 1872, in Leicestershire, Sir John Kirk was educated at the Castle Donnington Grammar School From 1873 to 1879 he was assistant secretary to the Ragged School I nion. and held the position of treasurer from 1879.
