MAKGAHAO TROUBLE.
WORK RESUMED, (Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, April 5. Progress on the Mangahao hydroelectrical development works was recently threatened by the tunnel workers refusing to accept the reductions provided in the Retrenchment Bill. They left work, and the Public Works Department called for tenders. Work has been resumed, so it is obvious that the tenders care satisfactory to the J)epai tment.
