DECISION RESERVED, (Pub Press Association.) WELLINGTON. March 30. The Appeal Court reserved its judgment. to-day in the case "William Henry Rose v. F- F. Roe and J. B. Rose, an appeal from the judgment of Mr Justice Herdrnan at Christchurch in July last in connection with an application under the Family Protection Act. (The father of the parties to the action died m 1919, leaving most of his property to W. H. Rose (appellant) and £SOO to the children of F. F. Rose. The value ot the estate was certified for ourposes of assessment of death duties as. £4677 lbs 7d. The two sons, F. F- Rose and J. T>. Rose, to whom nothing was left, applied to the Court under the Family Protection Act for some provision out of the estate, and Mr Justice Herdman awarded £IOOO to F. F. Rose and £SOO to J. B. Rose. From this decision the son to whom the money was left appealed).
