LIVE PIGEON MATCH.
The Chrißtchurch Gun Club held a £25 live pigeon match on Saturday afternoon, and drew a Bplendid nomination of thirtythree shooters. The day was ideal, and particularly good shooting was witnessed by a large gathering of spectators. Twelve competitors shot the possible, and divided the prize money. The club captain, Mr D. J. Dennehy, was in charge of the arrangements, and was ably assisted by the committee. Mr L. A. Shand was referee and handicapper. with Mr G. N. Orinondy on the score board. Afternoon tea was served at the club house by the caretaker, assisted by some lady members of the olub. The following are detailed scores of those who scored the possible:— AV.
