The condition of the track militated against fast times. The Auckland Athletic Club won the championship with a total of 56 points, the University being second with 52. For the first day of the New South Wales amateur athletic championships the weather was hot and the tracks were good In the 100yds event Oosterlnak went ahead at 50yds aud held the advantage to the finish.
