LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
WOOLSTON CLUB. the fifth annual general meeting of the Woolston Rugby Football League Club was held in the Druids* Hall. Woolston, last week. The club captain, Mr J. Lyness, presided. The annual report stated that although the season had not been particularly sue ceasful, there was a marked improvement in all players. The financial statement showed a balance of £7 3s. A new set of rules were adopted, subject to the approval of the Canterbury Centre. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: Patron, Mr W. M. Oliiver; president, Mr C.
