MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

TO-DAY’S CASES, CHRISTCHURCH. (Before Mr Wyvern Wilson. S.M ) DRUNK ON RAILWAY STATION Eli Arthur Evans pleaded guilty to saving been drunk on the Christchurch railway station on January 17. He was fined 20s, in default 48 hours’ imprisonment. (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. James M’Nicholl (Mr W. J. Hunter) was charged with having indecently exposed himself, and he pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail being allowed in bis own recognisance of £SO. £2O FOR NEGLECT. Gordon M Intosh, for failing to omply with a notice to grub gorsc, etc., was fined £2O, with costs. The Magistrate remarked that defendant had been given evJ*ry opportunity to clear the gorse, and was liable to be fined £1 for each day he failed to do so LYTTELTON. (Before Mr S. E. M’Carthy, S.M.) BROKEN ORDERS. For breaches of their prohibition orders John Robert Potton, Edward Orooker, Thomas Meyrick and Ernest Ha-mmill were each fined 40s and costs. M ATNTEN A NOE. WfUiam John Eccles applied for a fariation of the maintenance order respecting hig wife ami five children. Eccles stated that his wages amounted to £4 10s per week, and after paying board, superannuation, union fees and insurance he could not contribute £2 17« a week. The Magistrate made out a fresh order fo.r £2 7s 6d per week.
