RECIPROCITY WITH AUSTRALIA. (Feu. Press Association-.) WELLINGTON. January 17. So far there has been no detailed statement made as to the prog/ess of negotiations between New Zealand and Australia in connection with tariff questions. Cablegrams have been passing but the Christmas vacation made it impossible for either Cabinet to go very thoroughly into the matter. Now, however, it is announoed that the Minister of Customs, the Hon W. Downie Stewart,, will visit the Commonwealth during the recess for the purpose of going into details of the tariff treaty.
