AV hoi i Major Lloyd George (the Prime Minister’s younger son) was married recently to Miss Edna Jones, a black rat took quite a lot of attention away from the bride and bridegroom. It suddenly appeared from goodness knows where, and walked ahead of them down the red carpet as they came out of the chapel in Carnarvon, where they vere married—an omen that certainly ought to mean good luck! Evidently the bride and bridegroom thought so. for apparently they stood still a moment not to frighten the luckbringer away.
