WATERSIDE WORKERS.
ANNTT AL CONFERENCE. (Per Pres* Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, November 16. The Water aiders’ Conference opened this* morning, Mr Glover presiding. The twenty-five delegates were welcomed by the Mayor and the president of the local union. The Mayor said that the fact of the conference meeting here was recognition of the growing importance of this port, with which Mr Glover agreed. The conference then proceeded with preliminaries, proceedings which were not open to tho Press.
