Til© fortnightly meeting of the Perseverance Lodge, I .A.0.D., was held m the Selwyn Street Hall on Monday, Brother D. Smith, P.A., presiding. The president of the district, Brother J. R. Betts, was in attendance. A Druidical welcome was accorded to Brother L. Schumacher, of the Oak of Sydenham Lodge, also to Brother Christinas an .old member, who is on a visit from Morrinsville. It was announced that P.D.P. Brother TV. Skinner, tho first Arch Druid, over forty years ago, would visit the lodgo on quarter night. The sick were reported on, and sick allowance was passed for payment- A maternity grant of £0 whs received from the Grand Lodge. A vote of sympathy and condolence was passed to the widow and family of the late Brother Wen delken, the death allowance was passed for payment, and the lodge went into mourning. Sympathy was also given to Brother Lloyd.
