The Labour Conference finally adopted the draft of an international convention guaranteeing farm workers the same rights of association anil combination as other industrial workers. The Australian employers’ and Government delegates voted against, and all the Imperial delegates voted in the affirmative. The convention extending to agricultural workers the benefits of employers’ liability laws and recommendation to Governments to extend the benefits of sickness, invalidity and old age insurance to farm workers were adopted.
