It is reliably stated that the Government has definitely submitted a plan on which it is hoped that a united Ireland mav be built. A committee of four thoroughly discussed the scheme and future negotiations are said to depend on reply to tlie proposd. There is every possibility that Sir James Cfaig (Prime Minister of Ulster) vrill be asked to participate in the deliberations, but he is unlikely to attend the conference until a clear and definite line is marked oi.t The Government insists that the first essential is that Irelund acknowledges allegiance to the Crown, but the Irish representatives submit that allegiance the Ulster problem are interwoven.
