ADVERTISING CANTERBURY.
AUCKLAND TO IMITATE. Auckland is coming to the conclusion that it ought to imitate Christchurch and put out some advertising matter. The idea is not only to attract the retiring business man to spend his declining years there, hut to catch many of the bright and brainy young men in the south. Canterbury ia tlio pfa.ee for these men. In city and country there is room for the enterprising young man, and opportunity is always beckoning. Canterbury is "on the map,’ and advertising will help to keep her there.
