[From Our Correspondent.] WELLINGTON. November 1. IMMIGRATION JOY RIDES. I The Minister of Immigration gave a j prompt contradiction to a suggestion ■ conveyed in a question from Air Field (Otaki) to-dav that assisted immigrants have been taking advantage of the Government’s scheme to have a cheap trip from England, and that after ari rival they move to fresh countries. Alexander Urquliart states he has incurred medical and nursing expenses totalling £45 in connection with his son’~ injury and is unable t-o .meet the heavy expenses out of liis limited income, while Alargaret UrquI hart bos rendered herself liable for ' £386 costs of an action in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, which reversed a Supreme Court judgment.
