The report of the Commonwealth Industrial Bureau shows that during the year 1920 there were 544 industrial disputes in Australia. The number of working days lost was 1.872,000 and the estimated loss of wages was £1,224,000. MELBOURNE. November 1. The Conference of State Premiers has opened, ft is discussing the wheat position, coal export control and a number of other important inter-State matters.
