N.S.W. BASIC WAGE.
REDUCTION FIXED. By Telegrapli-Prees Association--Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY. October 31. Tn the Arbitration Court Judge Rolin ruled that the new declaration by the Board of Trade, reducing living wages by 3s, takes the place of the old living wage declaration. This means that applications by employers for reduction in wages may be granted. Accordingly applications by textile manufacturers and Hosking Ltd.’s iron steel industries for reduction of wages by 3s weekly were granted.
