WOMEN AND CHURCH WORK.

The Anglican Synod is- proceeding cautiously over the question of wider employment <*»f womou in church work. Having previously passed the bishops’ recommendation that they should be admitted to church councils, it was decided that the question of the position of women in tho councils and administration of the Church phould be postponed for consideration by provincial diocesan synods.
