AUDITOR-GENERAL TO RETIRE.
(Pun Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 14. The voluntary retirement is announced of Colonel R. J. Collins, Controller and Auditor-General, after 56 vears in th© Civil Service. He first joined at the New Plymouth militia office in July, ISSo. The office of Auditor-General is the only life position now on the Statute Books of the Dominin.
