SWIMMING.

EAST CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. The East Christchurch Amateur Swimmine: Club opened the season last evening with a mixed bathing: club night at the Tepid Baths. There were over seventy members present. Instruction In swimming was givon by the club’s instructors. A 33 1-3 yards ladles' handicap was held, there being twenty entries. The final resuited as follows:—Mlsb E.
