MARIST FOOTBALL CLUB DANCE.

The social and dance tendered to members of the Marist football teams by their many friends and supporters at the Art Gallery last night was attended by over two hundred guests. The committee consisted of Mesdames J. Smythe, M’Cullougb, M. Scanlon, Blackaby, Misses M. Ryan, R. Kelly, M. Smythe, K. Ryan, Teresa Ryan, Holly Ryan, M. Nolan, E. Rogers, K. Hartigan, E. Gleeson, Fitzgerald, C. O’Connor, V. Harrington and Miss J. M. Hartigan (secretary). To the energy and enthusiasm of these ladies much of the success of the function was due. A euchre tournament was played in the gallery, the prizes for which were kindly given bv Mrs V. Mills, Mrs M’Culloch and Miss Colliding, Miss Teresa Ryan and Mr Tulloch being the winners. Vases filled with plum blossom decked the supper tables. Miss Macdonald supplied the music and Miss Nelli© Nottingham played several extras.
