PROGRESS LEAGUE TOUR.
(Pjer Press Association - .) NELSON, September 24. A party of seven, representing the Canterbury Progress League, arrived at Nelson last evening, via the West Coast, and were accorded a civic reception. Afterwards they were entertained at supper. To-day the party visited the Cawthron Institute, Kirkpatrick’s Jam Factory and Griffin’s Factory, afterwards leaving for Motueka and Riwaka, and passing through the chief fruitgrowing centres. Tho weaiiher is beautifully fine. To-morrow will bo spent in Nelson, and tho party will leave for Blenheim on Monday.
