Taylor and Co., Dyers and French Cleaners, have been looking for a central receiving depot in order to cater for the convenience of many of their patrons. Shops are very hard to get in these days, but at last Taylor and Co., have been able to secure their object in the shape of a convenient place at G9O, Colombo Street, opposite Ballantyne’s, just two doors from Cashel Street. No less than £2OO has been spent in lenovating the place, with the result that it looks unusually attractive. Glass cases have been put in, the walls and fittings look clean and cool with their coating of white enamel, leadlights add to the attractiveness of the depot, the appearance of which is further enhanced by the familiar red and gold which distinguish Taylor and Co.’s other Receiving Depot, and .their various vans. Right across the street is the Red Sign of the firm. A telephone has beene installed, the number being 5472. In order to cater for their Papanui and Fendalton customers, Messrs Taylor and Co. intend to continue their depot at 25, Victoria Street, ’ Phone 2538. Taylor and Co.’s service is absolutely at your door. All you are required to do if you desire to have garments drycleaned or dyed, is to ring Taylor and Co., and one of their motor vans will call for the articles and return them to you within three days. Now' is the time to have summer clothes, cricketing flannels and light lain coats cleaned and pressed and made epic and span like new. Taylor and Co. also specialise in the cleaning and dying of infants’ clothes, such as small coats, bonnets, etc. 1
