INFORMATION WANTED.
THE TIMARU MURDER. (Per Pres* Association.) TIMARU, September 22. In connection with tho murder of Constable Dorgan the police are seeking tho assistance of the public to trace two meu who left Tirnaru on a noisy motor-cycle on th© night of the murder, and were heard passing through Temuka, Geraldine, Arundel, Ashburton and Chertsey. and called at a store at Dunsandel at 8 a.m. for petrol. An elderly storeman took no, not© of them by which lie could recognise them. Tracing this journey gives interest to a noise something like a pistol shot heard by those standing beside tho body of the murdered man in the street, which was supposed to be the back fire of a motor bicycle.
