TOTALISATOR PERMITS.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 22. In pursuance.of the recommendations of the Gaming Commission, the Gov-ernor-General is authorised bv Gazette notice to issue 184 totalisator licenses for days specified in the Commission's report for tlie racing year commencing August 1. It is explained that this is merely formal procedure to have the matter brought before Parliament.
