WHAT IS MORE STUBBORN THAN A MULE?

' ** It is an old saying when we want to describe pig-headedness to call a man as stubborn as a mule; but, isn’t a mo-tor-car that absolutely refuses to budge more stubborn than a mule P You can make a mule shift, but many an irate motorist will tell you in between the swear words that when a motor-car takes it into its hqad to stop stark still, it will stop stark still. But getting down to tin tacks, is that motor-car altogether to blame for is pig-headednes3p How many times ha 3 a. raotor-car got into that condition, and valuable time in consequence wasted, simply because of tho owner’s neglect, to see that the battery was in proper condition? The battery of a motor-car is equivalent to the nerves of the human body. V/hen tho nerves are functioning properly, we aro not aware of their presence. but let them get out of order und they quickly make themselves felt by the various aches and pains to which our bodies become subject.
