This morning Mr Sullivan, accompanied by Mr D. J. Buchanan. Conservator of Forests for the Otago-Canterbury region, Mr W. T Morrison, tree planting extension officer, and. several local forestry enthusiasts, visited the Domain, where The site of the proposed work was inspected, in company with members of the New Brighton Borough Council. It was decided, subject to approval by the New Brighton Borough Council, to proceed at once with the work by planting three five-acre blocks, the balance of tho work to be completed next tree planting season.
