A DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.
[P*b Press Association.] R.EEFTON, August 25. A fire at 5.30 a.m. destroyed Svenson’B (fruiterer), Burns’s (stationer) and Patterson’s (general store), while Stevenson’s Hotel was severely charred. Splendid work by th© fire brigade prevented the fire from spreading. All the properties are insured, hut th© occupants are heavy losers. The insuraneoß are not available.
