On Monday the following cases will come before the Arbitration Court:—lo a.m. : Retail shop assistants, other than grocers—industrial dispute. 2.10 p.nl.: "Warehouse clerks—industrial dispute. A message received from the RestHouse this afternoon stated that they uero experiencing a heavy snowstormand a violent gale on the hills. At 2.30 Tin of snow had already fallen, and the caretaker of the Kennedy’s Bush reserve took two hours and a half to reach the tram terminus. In the Arbitration Court this morning, before his Honor Mr Justice Frazer. decision was reserved in the case in which W. H. Cooke (Mr W. J. Hunter) sued J. W. Hey wood and Co., Ltd. (Mr M. J. Gresson) for compensation. The claim arose out of an accident which occurred while plaintiff was carting furniture for the defendant company, and which had since disabled his left arm.
