WEDDINGS.

O’CONNOR—NELSON. The wedding was solemnised at the Roman Catholic Cathedral, on Thursday morning, by Rev Father T. Hanrfih&n, of Kathleen Ferguson Nelson, third daughter of Air and Airs AY. Nelson, of -12, Ha/wdon Street, and Air Reginald O’Connor, of Le Bon’s Bay, Tho bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr J. Nelson, was richly dressed in a gown of shell-pink crepe do chine, trimmed with gold, with an overdress of georgette of the same colour. She wore a shell-pink veil adorned with a wreath of gold roses, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. Aliss Rosina Nelson, sister of the bride, wore a dross of apricot crepe do chine, trimmed with lace, and a hat to match, and she carried a bouquet' of spring flowers. Mr Iran Barker, of Le Bon’s Bay, acted as best man. Alisses J. and K. O'Connell, who wore charmingly dressed in pretty blue frocks, with hats to match, were th© flower girls. The wedding was solemnised at All Saints’ Church, Sumner, of Aliss Myrtle Gladys Thornley, younger daughter of Air and Airs II Thornley, Sumner, and Mr David Nairn, third son of Airs A. White, of Papamii. Tho Rev J. AY. Powell performed the ceremony. The church was beautifully decorated by tb© bride's friends. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very charming in a whit© French crepe do chine frock, which was daintily inlet and embroidered with trailing roses, the bridal veil being becomingly arranged with a circlet of orange" blossoms. A beautiful shower bouquet of white flowers completed the toilet. The bride was attended by two maids of honour, Aliss Alinnie Davies, attired in a blue frock embroidered in gold, and Aliss May Pearce, in apricot crepe de chine. Air Neville Farr attended as best man and Air Allen Henderson aa groomsman. After tho ceremony the guests were received at the Town Hall by the mother of the bride. At the conclusion of the wedding breakfast the guests were entertained with musical items. The bride’s travelling costume was navy blue serge. Amongst those present -were:—Rev J.
