CHRISTCHURCH. TO-DAY’S CASES. (Before Air Wyvern Wilson, S.AI.) I BREACH OF PROHIBITION. ORDER. Walter Rugg, charged with dmnki enness, and procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order, was fined 5s on a charge of drunkenness, and £2 for breach of prohibition order. DRUNKENN ES£. A first offender was fined 10s and the amount of his bail, in default twentyfour hours’ imprisonment. B-LAW CASES. Staniev Alonseen, for permitting a horse to wander, was fined 10s and costs. Gordon James Woodham and Edward Philip Farmer were each fined os and costs, for cycle riding on the footpath. Percy Baty, for cycling in Sydenham Park, was fined ss. William Shipley, for taking a motorcycle within Hagley Park, was fined os. For cycling without lights , James Smith, John Clark, Harry Craven, and John Bateman were each fined 10s. David Rodger (Mr Amodeo), George Lewis (Air A. W. Brown) and William M’Donald, for leaving their motor-cars unattended, were each fined ss. Patrick Edward Guiney (Air li. W. Gee), for leaving a motor-car unlighted was fined £l, and for having no front number on a motor-car was fined ss. i James Cowell, for leaving a motor j vehicle unlighted, was fined ss. 1 Gordon Scott was fined 10s for leav- f ing a motor-car unattended. Fines of os each were imposed on j Ormsby Laurie Jones, John Fulton, ; John Francis Foley and Patrick Delaney, for leaving cars unattended. Hiram Wilson, for speeding over an intersection, was fined £l. Lawrence Withers (Air Amodeo) for speeding, was fined £2. Herbert Francis Lamb, similarly charged, was fined £l. Norman Arthur Bell, for speeding over the Bank of New Zealand crossing, was fined £2. STRAYING CATTLE. Walter Eugene Thielman (Air F. S. ! Wilding), proceeded against Eliza Maud Maguinness for allowing cattle to wander. Defendant was convicted, j and ordered to pay Court costs.
