The Kemalist-s have established a reign of terror in the Trebizond region, and are rounding up the Greek subjects, cutting them to death. Twenty-seven Britishers, including Colonel R awl in son and Captain Campbell, are still retained as prisoners. Their present whereabouts are unknown.
