PAUL FREEMAN KILLED
IN TRAIN ACCIDENT. By Telesrrapli—Press Association —Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 5, 8.55 a.m.) LONDON, August 4. Information received in London confirms the news that Paul Freeman was killed in the Riga-Mcscow train accident. The cause of the accident is unknown. A message received on July 30 stated :—A train conveying delegates from the Third International at Moscow to Riga was wrecked. Six of the delegates, including Messrs Frimack (an Australian), and Hewlett (of Great Britain), were killed. Mr Tom Mann missed the train. A message from -Moscow says the train disaster is supjx>sed to be due to an anti-Communist plot. Many of the injured were sent to hospital in Kursk. It is assumed in London that Frimack, the Australian, is identical with Paul Freeman, whose hunger strike some time ago, when he ■was refused permission to land in Australia, brought him before the public.
