PARER’S FLIGHT.
WILL MAKE A FRESH START. By Telesrraph—Press Association— Ccpvright. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. MELBOURNE, August 4. Lieutenant Parer was badly bruised, but until an X-ray examination has been made it cannot be ascertained if any bones are broken. Parer states that when he recovers and the machine is fitted with a new propeller he will make a fresh start. A message received yesterday stated that Lieutenant Parer, after travelling forty miles, was forced to descend through engine trouble. While overhauling the engine, he was overbalanced by a strong wind, his feet being caught in the revolving propeller. He was removed to a hospital.
