A struggle for possession of children provided a painful scene in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. The parents, who had been ensaged in a suit against each other, apparently intended to go different ways. By virtue of the law the father had guardian shir*, of the children, but one of the children, a little girl, clung Bobbing to her mother. in defiance of the legislative provision. while the little boy apparently regarded the whole thing as a very strange business. The father’s attempt
to pull the little girl from her mother was fruitless, and orders by the trate and suasion by the Oourt orderly were applied before the matter was acliusted in accordance with the Court’s dictates.
