WEDDINGS.

NAPIER-MILNE. At St Paul’s Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, the marriage took place of Air H. Herbert Napier, of Springston South, and Violet, elder daughter of Mr and Airs J. Milne, Upton Farm, Lincoln. The Rev J- Paterson, conducted the ceremony. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a handsome dress of satin charrneuse, embroidered with gold. She

also wore a hand-embroidered veil, prettily arranged over a circlet of orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of gold and white chrysanthemums. Aliss Jess Milne (sister of tile bride), who attended as a. bridesmaid, wore a pretty frock of ivory crepe de chine, made in juniper style, with frilled skirt, and a. black georgette hat with floral spray. The flower girl, Aliss Una, Johnson (niece of the bridegroom) wore a dainty white frilled silk frock, and leghorn hat with gold trimming. Air Harold Hoskins was the best man. After the ceremony a reception was held, Airs Milne receiving the guests in a navy blue serge costume, black hat, trimmed with coloured flowers. FELT OX—PRICE. The wedding was celebrated at the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church on Tuesday of Aliss Ida Price, eldest daughter of Air and Afrs A. Price, of Avonside, and Air Ernest Felton, of Te Puke, Bay of Plenty. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a dainty dress of white crepe de chine, trimmed with shadow lace and ribbon, with which was worn a beautiful hand-embroidered veil, completed by a circlet of orange blossom. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Aliss Julia Price (sister of the bride), wearing a biscuit coloured crepe de chine frock trimmed with pink and shadow lace, and Aliss Aiae Berg, who wore a frock of powder blue crepe de chine. Both bridesmaids wore pink tulle veils and carried bouquets of chrysanthemums with tulle streamers, which harmonised beautifully with the dresses. The bridegroom was attended by Air Lcn Berg as best man and Air Cyril Price as groomsman. Afternoon tea was served in tho School Hall, where about fifty friends of the happy couple assembled to wish them every happiness. GABY—CLARK. A marriage was solemnised at Avonside Holy Trinity Church on Tuesday, June 21, by the Rev O. Fitzgerald, the contracting parties being Aliss Gladys Clark, eldest daughter of Air and Alr3 H. W. Clark, Slater Street, and Air James Gaby, oldest son of Airs Preddv, of Worcester Street. Lin wood. The bride, who entered .the church on tho arm of her father, was daintily attired in a cream . silk dress, heavily embroidered, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. The bride was attended by Aliss Evelyn Preddy (sister of the bridegroom), who wore a dress of pale mauve satin de chine and a black crepe de chine hat lined with mauve. She also carried a shower bouquet relieved with touches of heliotrope. The bride’s little sister, Olwen, was a flower girl, and wore a dainty dress of white, silk with touches of lemon. breakfast at the “ Beresford,’’ when tho usual toasts were honoured. The bride's mother wore a tailored navyblue costume and navy blue, crepe de chine hat. The bridegroom’s mother wore a smartly embroidered costume of prunclle gabardine, with a mole and prunelle toque. The bride and bridegroom left for Sydney, the bride wearing a fawn-coloured costume, the skirt being accordion-pleated, and her hat being of smart shot silk and blue ospreys underlined with blue panne velvet.
