Marists kicked off. Albion by a series of short line kicks carried play to Marists’ twenty-five line. Marists retaliated, and Kirwin, getting tho ball from a scrum passed to M’Cormack, who beat a man nnu ► cored. Kane failed with the kick. Marists 3, Albion 0. Albion were again hard pressed, but were saved by a couple of good marks. From a scrum M’Cormack passed to Fitzgerald, who handled it badly, missing hiß chance. A misunderstanding between Kune and Brosnahan as to who was to take the ball from a long kick enabled Albion to force Marists back to their twenty-five. The Albion forwards pressed Marists to their goal line, but a long kick brought play to midfield. A free kick by Albion again brought the ball to Marists’ twenty-live. Later, after a dribbling rush, O’Malley passed to J. Mullins, who was downed by Buchanan on Albion goal line. A free to Albion relieved the pressure. Play was then carried to Marists’ territory.. From a pass in Marists got tho ball, and returned to the attack, and J. Mullins got right through the backs to the goal line, where he was collared. Soon after H. Mullins got over as the result of a good passing rush. Kune failed with the kick. Half-time was then sounded with the score: Marists 6, Albion 0.

On resuming Albion took up the attack, and caught Marists napping. E. Buchanan, the wing three-quarter secured the ball and dashed over. Tire kick was taken by YV. L. Cummings missed. 11-0. Another easy try bv Watson was followed by one as easy by Hewitt, Turpin and Cummings missing with the kicks. Bur son scored the next, and Coe converted.
