WEDDINGS.

KENNEDY—CRAIGIE. The marriage was solemnised on M ednesday at St John’s Presbyterian Church, Wellington, of Miss Flossie Craigie, daughter of Mr James Craigie, M.P. of Timaru, and Mrs Craigie, to Mr Reuel Kennedy, of “ Ellerslie,” Tahora, son of Mr and Mrs W. G. Kennedy, Tahora. The ceremony was performed l»y the Rev Dt Gibb, and Mr Temple White played appropriate organ music. The fcride was given away by her father, and wore a charming French gown of ivory souple satin, her veil being arranged in mop cap fashion and caught with, posies of orange blossoms. filer bouquet was of violets. Miss Ruby Craigie was the bridesmaid, wearing a pretty frock of moonlight blue crepo de chine, the draperies being caught with shaded rosettes of pink, mauve and blue, her hat being of black panne velvet. Her bouquet was also of violets, these dainty flowers being a distinctive feature of the wedding. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Bartholomew, of Feilding, as best man. Mrs Craigie (mother of the bride) wore a navy blue tailored costume and smart black hat with white wings, and carried a lovely bunch of violets. Mrs Kennedy (mother of the bridegroom) was in brown charmeuse, and a small brown hat to match, over which she wore a sable coat, and also carried violets. After the ceremony Mr and Mrs Craigie entertained a number of relatives to a luncheon at the Midland Hotel. Mr and Mrs Kennedy left by motor for the north, the bride travelling in a mole-coloured gabardine costume and n ribbon hat to match. With this was worn a handsome musquash cent.

WEBB—ROBSON. Tlie wedding took place recently at St John’s Church, Latimer Square, of Mr William Webb, only son of Mr and Mrs Webb, Linwood, and Miss Vera Robson, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Robson, Sydenham. The Rev H. Nelson Wright was the officiating clergyman- The bride, who was given awav by her father, wore a pretty frock of ivory crepe de chine and georgette, hand-embroidered in palo pink rosebuds .and trimmed with pearls. She wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of hothouse flowers and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were Miss May Robson (sister of the bride), who was daintily gowned in primrose crepe de chine artistically embroidered, and a black silk tulle and lace hat trimmed in saxe and primrose shades, and Miss Doris Webb (sister of the bridegroom), who was attired in a saxe-blue cropo de chine gown, beautifully embroidered in primrose chenille, and a black crinoline straw hat worked with black chenille and saxe and primrose sprays. Both carried bouquets of vari-coloured flowers and autumn leaves. The bridegroom was attended by Mr O. Hill as best man. After the ceremony Mr and Mrs H. T. Robson entertained the relations and friends in the Hastings Street Hall. The bride’s travelling costume was fawn gabardine, with a presand saxe-blue hat and a black fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom.
