PETONE GASWORKS TROUBLE.
INTERVENTION OF MINISTER SOUGHT. TPer Press Association.! WELLINGTON, June Vi. In connection with the trouble at the ketone gasworks, the secretary of the Gasworks Union has asked tho Minister of Labour to intervene, and act in the capacity of an independent chairman at a meeting between the Petone Borough Council and the union, in order to trv and adjust the difficulty. It is understood that the Minister is willing to accede to the suggestion if the council is willing.
