FLOODS AT GISBORNE.
ACCIDENT TO MAIL COACH. [Pkh Press Association.! GISBORNE, June 17. As the result of a flood, two spans of the Waiapu Bridge, which is under process of restoration, were carried away. The mail coach from Waipiio Bay, when crossing the Mangahaniui River yesterday, was overturned and carried down ten chains. The driver rescued the mails and horses at considerable risk to himself.
