MR W. K. M'ALPINE, re-elected vicepresident of the Progress League. Mr M'Alpine is a sheepfarmer, his property being at Craigieburn, on the Arthur’s Pass line. He is chairman of the Tawera County Council. Ho is very much esteemed by members of the League Executive, whose confidence he has gained through his unfailing amiability and sound commonsense.
