DAVIS CUP TEAM. TPer Press Association.! AUCKLAND, June 14. Tho' Australian Davis Cup team, who are passengers by the Niagara, arrived to-day, en route to Canada. PAPARUA CLUB. A genera! meeting of members of the Paparua Tennis Club was held in 'he pavilion, Hornby, on Wednesday evening, Mr A. Spicer, presiding over a fair attendance. A motion of sympathy was passed to Miss Carver in her recent bereavement, all present standing as a mark of respect. Correspondence was dealt with and accounts were passed for payment. A committee was set up to make arrangements in connection with the annual dance, which will be held in the lalington Social Hail. It was alco decided to hold a singles tournament for men oltym, cpmzaencing on Saturday next, a t*jarn*x»eat for ladje* to follow imnjediafcfly on its conclusion.
