At a meeting of tbo New Zealand Football Association, challenges for the Browu Shield were received from South Auckland and Auckland, end were referred to the local association. It was stated that Otago also was challenging. Advice was received from Sydney that when the Australian Association was in a position to guarantee the necessary quota for the visit of an English team, the New Zealand Association would be advised. With regard to a cable from New South Wales, it was decided that it was too late to make arrangements for a visit of a combined Queensland and New South Wales team.
