TO-DAY'S POULTRY MARKET. Messrs J. B. Merrett and Co. report a. fair entry of poultry to-day. Prices were Tomarkablv good, prime quality bird'* realising high‘price*. Table chickens brought from 7s 6d to 15s 3d, liens 4s to 9s JOd, pullets 7s 3d up to 22s 6d, ducks 7s to 13s 3rl, geese ?a to 11s, turkeys 17s Gd to 533 9d, all per pair. THE EGO MARKET There is an improred supply in the egg market a 3 a large number of young stock are now coming into profit. Canterbury Egg Circle first grades realised 3s and seconds 2s lOd per dozen.
